Happy Mothers Day!

Well, It has been a while since I posted. I went back to work full time so my time spent working on my bus has gone down dramatically. I finished the IRS in the back it is now on the ground. I made my own spring plates but I still want to order some Nate that are adjustable. That way getting the rear tire off is easier. Here is an updated picture of the bus and also a picture of the lowered and stretched bike I started. It's not much now but I just started it today.

I moved the bottom tube for the crank up 7 inches. I am buying some low rider forks so the front wheel should move forward enough to clear the crank. If not...I will just fab something up. I am buying some big ape hangers for it. I need to move the seat post back a couple inches for the stretch look. Probably gonna add a foot to the rear....maybe more.

Happy New Year

Well things are changing at the home front. I am down sizing my collection and getting down to bare bones. We sold the 13 window and it went to a good home in California. So the only projects I have right now are my 1958 dove blue panel and my 1959 15 window which is a huge project! I am in the market for an early double cab.

It is crazy to think of all the crap that happens in this small ass town I live in. There are so many two faced people that I thought were friends of mine. It really opened my eyes on what reality really was. Just because someone is nice to you to your face does not mean shit! Well enough of my rants....back to Volkswagens!

I am finishing up my front beam for my 58. I built a 4" beam, flipped spindles and fabricating up some bay window disc brakes for it. I had the hubs machined by Coconino Auto's machine shop. Larry did a great job and the price was right. I will post some pictures to show the progress of the beam when I get a chance. For the rear of the bus, I plan on Fab'n up a bay IRS set up with either air bags or adjustable spring plates. i am running 17" rims all around so getting those out from under those wheel wells should be fun!

My goal is to have my 58 on the ground and running by May.
